LEADS - SUNY Buffalo State’s Learning, Engagement and Development Services (LEADS) provides training (for trainers as well as clients), organizational development, technical assistance, curriculum design and development, and seminar organization services. These services support best practices in child support-, homelessness-, and human resource administration services, as well as for employment and income support and other eligibility programs. Eligibility programs that are supported include Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). LEADS collaborates with the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA). LEADS also conducts research to enhance the success of OTDA programs and promote community health and well-being.
